Me dad headed up to higham for our first trip of 2010. With the bottom lake still frozen and the top 2 fishable but had a thin layer of ice on one side of each lake after through the night temps of -3.
After a cold start to the morning and the sun trying to peep through breaking the ice up the ice moved out and made most of the 2 lakes fully fishable. After a 5 hour sporting ticket dad netted a nice fish of around 3lb and i blanked had a few takes but no fish, but still a good day out, good to be getting a line wet.
